The LINQPad(beta) is an advanced and free LINQ expressions testing and learning tool written by Joseph Albahari. To run LINQ against SQL queries, you will need SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2000, or SQL Express.
LINQPad requires .NET Framework 3.5 Beta 2 (NOT the May 2006 CTP, nor Framework 3.5 Beta 1)
LINQPad is fully compatible with Windows Vista and does not require administrative elevation.

Assembly editor for Reflector

Reflexil is an assembly editor and runs as a plug-in for Lutz Roeder’s Reflector. Reflexil is using Mono.Cecil, which is a strategic library for the Mono project.

Reflexil is able to manipulate IL code and save the modified assemblies to disk. Reflexil also supports ‘on the fly’ C# code injection.

Reflexil is an open source project released under the GPL license.

Reflexil requires Microsoft .NET 2.0

sdedit – Quick Sequence Diagram Editor

My coworker(his blog is located here) pointed me to this tool and I found it very useful.Quick Sequence Diagram Editor is a tool for creating UML sequence diagrams from textual descriptions of objects and messages that follow a very easy syntax.

Below you may see a syntax example for Sequence Diagram shown in screenshot – it’s very intuitive and easy to understand.

user:Actor
/order:Order
db:TicketDB
acc:Account

user:order.new()
order:return=db.reserve(date,count)
db:return=acc.debit(cost)
acc:return=db.bonus(date,count)
user:order.destroy

The tool supports actors, constructors, destructors, threads and on-diagram comments that can be used to represent conditions or loops.
Diagrams can be exported in PNG format.

GhostDoc 2.1.0 Released

GhostDoc is a free add-in for Visual Studio that automatically generates XML documentation comments for C#. Either by using existing documentation inherited from base classes or implemented interfaces, or by deducing comments from name and type of e.g. methods, properties or parameters.

What’s New in GhostDoc:
  1. Added: Support for VB.NET has been added again . The feature is turned off by default and you have to turn it on in the config dialog.
  2. Added: Setup for the demo project now contains a VB.Net version.
  3. Added: Full support for events (configurable default documentation, inherited documentation , and used-defined custom rules)
  4. Added: New macro $(DeclaringTypeKind) that specifies the kind of type a member is defined in (i.e. class, struct or interface).
  5. Changed: All occurrences of "class" in the default templates have been replaced by $(DeclaringTypeKind).
  6. Fixed: Documentation of constructors of structs referring to the initialization of a "class" instance.
  7. Fixed: Problems with parameter names starting with an ‘@’ (e.g. "@class").
